

Farah Kaddour is a Beirut-based musician, composer, and researcher. Aga Khan Music Award winner (2025). Her expertise lies in Levantine Arabic music, encompassing both classical and folk traditions. Through her instrument, the Buzuq, she aims to craft innovative sounds and compositions that draw upon her extensive study and preservation of rich musical heritage.
As a performer and composer, Kaddour is a member of "SANAM" and "Tilt," and has cultivated numerous collaborations with artistic projects and venues such as Metro al Madina, as well as with a variety of artists and filmmakers. Her professional experience includes various roles at Action for Hope, where she contributed to administrative, educational, musical, and research roles. Notable projects include AFH Music Schools, the "On the Tracks of Music" project, and the "Syria Music Map" website.
In March 2024, she released her debut solo album, "Badā," under the Canadian label Asadun
